We help empower the Ktunaxa Nation to exercise jurisdiction over ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa, stewarding lands and resources for present and future generations.

Swaq̓mu (salmon) is the emblem of the sector, representing sustenance, renewal and abundance.

As Ktunaxanin̓tik, stewarding ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa is a part of who we are.  

The Ktunaxa Nation Council Lands & Resources Sector works collaboratively with Ktunaxa First Nations to advance Ktunaxa stewardship interests across ɁamakɁis Ktunaxa.

We are guided by the Ktunaxa Nation Vision Statement, in protecting ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa and ʔa·kxam̓is q̓api qapsin (all living things) in order to fulfill our stewardship responsibilities.
