We support Ktunaxa businesses through coaching, access to funding, and procurement opportunities.

We manage initiatives to reduce economic barriers for Ktunaxa and support economic growth.

Business Development Office

The Business Development Office (BDO) supports Ktunaxa businesses and entrepreneurs.

We also work with other Indigenous / First Nations entrepreneurs who are based in ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa.

One-on-One Business Coaching

Our team offers one-on-one business coaching to help you with:

  • Business planning
  • Cash-flow forecasting
  • Budgeting
  • Marketing
  • Web development
  • Access to a wide-range of grants
  • Training and support


You get personalized coaching to help meet your goals which goes far beyond just ‘filling in a template.’

Clients from other First Nations who live in ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa can also access business coaching.

The Ktunaxa MicroLoan program offers loans of up to $10,000 per application, with a lifetime eligibility limit of $25,000.

Loans are open to Ktunaxa Nation members for new or expanding business ventures, as well as certified Ktunaxa businesses in which Ktunaxa Nation members own and operate at least 51% of the enterprise.

Recipients get flexible financing options, with no restrictions on the use of funds once their application is approved.

Grants of up to $5,000 per application support start-up and existing Ktunaxa businesses.

Funding is for the purchase of tangible items essential to business operations, such as tools and equipment.

There is a lifetime eligibility limit of $15,000 per applicant.
