Free or subsidized Internet for Ktunaxanin̓tik in ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa.
About Community Connectivity
This is an initiative to subsidize or provide free Internet services to Ktunaxa First Nation members.
The goal is to reduce or eliminate economic barriers for Ktunaxanin̓tik, by covering the costs of their Internet connectivity.
In 2022, Economic and Investment Sector Council approved funding to support the initiative.
After working with the Ktunaxa First Nations to reach their ‘on-reserve’ members with this offer, (Phase 1, which is still open), we are now offering Phase 2: Subsidized or Free Internet for all Ktunaxa First Nations band members, wherever they live.
