Star Quilt Workshop with Roberta
Thank you to Roberta Gravelle, (pictured in the circle photo) who offered star quilt workshops where participants learned to make the gorgeous star pattern while they created lap blankets to be gifted during the Ktunaxa Citizens’ Excellence Awards, coming up on May 12.
The workshops happened over a couple of weekends, one in March, and one in April.
More than 10 participants cut, pieced and sewed material for long hours to develop the intricate patterns in time for the upcoming awards presentation.
Thank you to Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi’it First Nation, who hosted everyone in their administration building.
