The annual Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo is taking place Saturday, September 12 at St. Eugene Golf, Resort and Casino, and we are holding a draw for one free entry to the ride for a lucky Ktunaxa citizens!
Any Ktunaxa ʔaqǂsmaknik̓ who would like to enter can complete the form here. Entry deadline is Friday, August 14 at noon MDT.
The winner will be drawn and contacted on August 14.
The Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo is a non-profit cycling event, put on and led by the Sunrise Rotary Club of Cranbrook in cooperation with JCI Kootenay. The event’s purpose is to serve as an opportunity for cyclists to participate in a world class Fondo and raise funds for local charitable endeavours.
The winner of the draw can choose between three different distances:
- Piccolo: 58 KM (St. Eugene to the Kimberley Platzl, then back to St. Eugene)
- Medio: 102 KM (St. Eugene to the Kimberley Platzl, to Wasa, then back to St. Eugene)
- Gran: 152 KM (St. Eugene to the Kimberley Platzl, to Wasa, to the Kootenay Trout Hatchery, back to Ft. Steele, returning to St. Eugene).
