To donate to a program or initiative

Ktunaxa Nation Council seeks to serve Ktunaxa ʔaqǂsmaknik̓, wherever they live.

We also serve other First Nations ʔaqǂsmaknik̓ (Indigenous people) who live in our homelands through social, educational and economic services.

Our programs and initiatives follow the directive of our Executive Society, which includes the elected leadership of the four Ktunaxa First Nations and the Nation Chairperson.

Specific donation opportunities

Traditional Knowledge and Language

Our Traditional Knowledge & Language (TKL) Sector is underfunded, so we are always seeking ways to raise additional funding. We host an annual golf tournament which attracts sponsors, and we produced a banner publication, q̓apkiǂ, which is available for purchase. You can donate to language and culture by clicking the Donate button below.

Operation Street Angel

Operation Street Angel is a key resource for people in Cranbrook. It provides resources, support, meals, showers and referrals to hundreds of people each month, many of whom are homeless.

Ktunaxa Nation Council has run Operation Street Angel for several years, and is always seeking donations to help those it serves.

The Nation is grateful to industry donors who have helped over the years, and to group donations collected by community partners such as The Home Depot.
