Grant Writing Workshop: From Idea to Funded

What should I expect?
This four-hour workshop teaches the practical skills needed to write a strong grant application.
You will learn how to develop a project idea, identify suitable funders, and prepare a clear, well-organized proposal.
Please bring any ongoing applications, ideas or drafts if you have them!
The session is interactive, with time to practice each step using real examples, so you can work through a sample application or bring an application you are currently working on for feedback and editing support.
You can also expect refreshments to be provided at no cost.
Who is this workshop for?
The workshop is open to staff and community members of all experience levels, and no prior grant writing experience is required.
What will I learn?
You will learn to:
– Understand what funders look for when reviewing applications
– Write the main sections of a grant proposal
– Use clear, persuasive language to strengthen your writing
– Use a step-by-step workbook for future applications
And you will walk away with a printed workbook to keep!
