DESCRIPTION:What should I expect?\nThis four-hour workshop teaches the practical skills needed to write a strong grant application. \nYou will learn how to develop a project idea\, identify suitable funders\, and prepare a clear\, well-organized proposal. \nPlease bring any ongoing applications\, ideas or drafts if you have them! \nThe session is interactive\, with time to practice each step using real examples\, so you can work through a sample application or bring an application you are currently working on for feedback and editing support. \nYou can also expect refreshments to be provided at no cost. \nWho is this workshop for?\nThe workshop is open to staff and community members of all experience levels\, and no prior grant writing experience is required. \nWhat will I learn?\nYou will learn to: \n– Understand what funders look for when reviewing applications\n– Write the main sections of a grant proposal\n– Use clear\, persuasive language to strengthen your writing\n– Use a step-by-step workbook for future applications \nAnd you will walk away with a printed workbook to keep! \nHow do I sign up?\nRegister by November 20\, 2026. \nRegister by emailing Levi at levi.rees@ktunaxa.org
